Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about deleting PDF pages

How do I select multiple pages to delete?

Simply click on each page thumbnail you want to remove. Click again to deselect. You can also use Select All or Select Range buttons for faster selection of many pages.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. All PDF page deletion happens entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy.

Will the remaining pages lose quality?

No. The deletion uses lossless page copying. The remaining pages preserve their original content, images, fonts, and metadata exactly as they were in the source PDF.

Can I delete all pages of a PDF?

No. A PDF must contain at least one page. If you try to delete all pages, the operation will be cancelled. At least one page must remain in the output PDF.

Is there a limit on PDF size or page count?

There is no hard limit. However, rendering thumbnails for very large PDFs (hundreds of pages) may take time and consume memory. For best performance, use PDFs with fewer than 200 pages.

What is the difference between Delete and Extract?

Extract keeps the selected pages and discards the rest. Delete removes the selected pages and keeps the rest. They are inverse operations using the same visual selection interface.
