Everything you need to know about converting PDF to images
We support two formats: JPEG (smaller file size, best for photos) and PNG (lossless, best for text and graphics with transparency). Choose the format that best suits your needs.
No. All PDF to image conversion happens entirely in your browser using Mozilla's pdf.js library. Your files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy.
The scale multiplier controls output image resolution. 1x uses the PDF's native resolution, 2x doubles it for sharper images, and 4x produces high-resolution images suitable for printing or zooming.
There is no hard limit. However, converting very large PDFs (hundreds of pages) at high resolution may consume significant memory. For best performance, convert PDFs with fewer than 100 pages at a time.
All converted images are packaged into a single ZIP archive for convenient download. Each image is named sequentially (page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg, etc.) to preserve page order.
Text sharpness depends on the resolution scale you choose. At 1x scale, text may appear slightly soft. For crisp text, use 2x or higher scale, or choose PNG format which preserves edges better than JPEG.
